Speaking

Adam talks on a number of topics in the social media and futurology areas, generally to audiences which are either corporate organisations or business groups. These audiences want to make sense of the exciting landscape enabled by new technologies and advances, and they want to start to understand how they must engage with these platforms to survive in the 21st century.

Adam provides keynote speeches, seminars, and workshops which educate and upskill people so they themselves can engage clients and prospects using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and the other tools available, and do it without the expense of traditional marketing activities. To see what people have said about these, please scroll to the bottom of the page.

Whilst Adam can prepare talks on a specific subject or topic, he has a number of prepared talks & presentations which might be suitable:

Talks – usually delivered to groups of 50+ individuals. There will be a Q&A at the end (for as long as is required) but the size of the audience generally will preclude too much interactivity.

  • A giant leap – a 40 minute top line talk on; how marketing used to work, why it clearly doesn’t work any more, what the way forward is, and what you need to engage with social media. This is a good introduction in to what social media can offer a business and why it is appropriate to YOUR business.
  • The internet NOW – ever heard of a wiki, a podcast, a blog but been afraid to ask what it is or why it’s such a great tool. This a series of short snapshots of what each of these (and more) internet technologies is, why it’s so special, and how you can apply it to your business.
  • In the clouds – a 30 minute talk about cloud computing, what it means for the future of your business, and how you need to shrug-off the desire for owning boxes of software in favour of a cloud based solution
  • My staff won’t do any work! – every employer’s biggest fear of engaging with social media. The talk explores the reasons why this fear need to be embraced and managed.

Seminars & workshops – usually delivered to groups of between 5-50. The level of interactivity and one to one time will depend entirely on the number in the audience. These sessions are more focussed on the mechanics of using and maximising particular platforms and strategies.

  • Creating an integrated strategy – using LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Plaxo, YouTube and others in an integrated and focussed way to minimise your time on them and maximise your return.
  • Safety and security - how to manage the risks involved in having your staff use social media on your business’ behalf.

If you would like further details on any of the talks or seminars, please get in touch.

What people say

Here is a small selection of what has been said by audiences at events and by individual clients for training and consultancy:

“At a recent meeting of BRX Partners and Leaders Adam Gray gave us an hour of his time to instruct us in “How social networking can work and transform a business”. Towards the end of the meeting a BRX partner gasped “Eureka I’ve got it, for months I have struggled and you have made it clear to me in less than an hour” .

For me personally Adam’s talk was a revelation and I felt the question and answer session was equally as revealing.

As it was obvious to all present that Adam’s talk was “a hit” I conducted a straw poll, as I do on occasions, with marks out of 10. Adam recorded the highest score ever.”

Michael Stern – Chairman, The BRX Group of Companies
